First Aquarius Homes Association

FAHA is a community consisting of 138 homes bordering Homecrest Road in the Norbeck Area of Silver Spring, Md.

We are located near 4 major Montgomery County highway interchanges, which include the Intercounty Connector (ICC), Connecticut and Georgia Avenues, and Norbeck Road.

We have our own Board of Directors and Architectural Control Committee (ACC) to uphold the rules and By-laws in order to maintain the high standards of our community.

Our homes are of the duplex rambler type with 2 car garages, some with fireplaces, 3 or 4 bedrooms & 2 baths. These homes were originally designed as a part of Leisure World, and they are one level homes with lowly located light switches making them user friendly to both the aged and handicapped.

We keep our community neat, clean, and safe, resulting in higher property values and a low crime rate.  All grades of schools are within driving distance and we are located on a major bus route.  Rider Bus #26 travels along the adjacent Homecrest Road making stops at several Metro Stations, including Glenmont, Twinbrook, and White Flint, with easy access to two malls, White Flint Plaza and Montgomery Mall.
